Labland launched the business with a motto to translate the inventions of the Laboratory to the Land. Hence the name Lab-to-Land and the business identified was to supply quality planting materials of ornamentals, foliages, plantation crops, and medicinal plants through the process of Plant Tissue Culture and exporting to various global locations starting with customers located at Florida, Seattle, Canada, Israel, The Netherlands, Korea, and Japan. Subsequently, Labland also started catering to the needs of the domestic market by supplying Aloe vera, Anthuriums, Banana, Cardamom, Gerberas, Melaleuca, Stevia, Vanilla, and many ornamentals and foliages.
In terms of acreage, Labland has supplied banana plants in excess of 5000 acres right from the inception. With this strength, in the lab and on the field, Labland forayed into Jatropha plant science research and Jatropha tissue culture in the year 2002.
